You may have heard or seen on your TV robotic mowers in action, but never really considered them as a real alternative to your current lawn mower.

One of the primary motivating factors for people looking at robotic lawn mowers is to be able to stop having to cut your lawn every week all through the growing season.

Another thing that robot lawn mowers do extremely well, is improve the quality and look of your lawn. There are two main reasons for this.

The first is the regular cutting of your grass. Robot lawn mowers are designed to cut your grass much more frequently than a conventional mower. They only cut a small length of the grass each time and use sharp blades which cut the grass rather than knock the top off, which a lot of rotary mowers do. This results in the grass experiencing less stress, allowing it to remain much healthier and greener.

The second reason is that robot lawn mowers do not collect the clippings but mulch them. The clippings are returned to the lawn, providing nutrients to the growing grass. This keeps your grass much healthier and greener than it would be if you use a conventional lawnmower and remove the clippings each time your lawn is cut.
