David Cleave

David grew up in Sturminster Newton and has always had a good relationship with the community and surrounding villages.

His parents were care takers at the local high school and as well as attending, David has always enjoyed various sports, particularly cricket and riding his motorbike.

After David left school, he completed a 2-year horticulture course engineering course in Exeter whilst working for a garden machinery company in Shaftesbury.

After 5 years David decided to set up his own business, DC Garden Machinery. He began trading from a little shed in Stalbridge and by 2010 DC Garden Machinery had grown, along with his parents help he opened the doors to his new showroom on the Butts Pond trading estate in Sturminster Newton.
